European Conected Health Alliance
ECHAlliance is a “not for profit” community interest company designed to support and promote the wider adoption of healthcare and wellbeing products, services,
applications and innovation. The scope includes the economic development of the full range of eHealth, EHR, TeleCare, TeleHealth, Telemonitoring and mHealth sectors. ECHAlliance provides a
unique partnership of organisations, companies and government bodies and assists in the creation of “business” opportunities for its members.
The membership basement of ECHAlliance is multi-sectoral and expanding. ECHAlliance has currently approx. 170 members from 23 countries representing authorities, associations, research
organisations, healthcare providers, eHealth - connected health - ICT and pharma industries and third sector actors. It is expected that the number of members will increase to close 200 by
the end of year 2013.
Role in project
ECHAlliance will lead WP4(Get global), and will lead a Get on track edition in the UK. Additionally it will open its wide international network of experts to project partners. ECHAlliance
will also bring to the project its experience in organising international events.
